The Firm was founded by Victor S. Sy in 1977.
We proudly celebrate our 37th anniversary in 2014.
Our practice includes defending taxpayers from audits by the IRS and other agencies, preparing tax returns, tax planning, asset protection planning, estate planning, and accounting.
We are proud of our success with tax controversy work - IRS audit defense and collection cases that include Offers In Compromise (OIC) or Installment Arrangements (payment plans) for taxpayers who are unable to pay delinquent taxes.
We are pro-active in setting up asset protection vehicles such as C corporations, S corporations, LLCs, and other entities.
Our clientele includes companies in real estate, health, law, trading, manufacturing, and other industries located all over the U.S. including California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, and overseas.
Victor S. Sy, MBA, CPA, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Cum Laude), major in Accounting, and minor in Finance from the University of the East in 1966. Victor worked with several CPA firms including Ernst & Young (then Ernst & Ernst), Andersen Consulting/Accenture, and SGV (SyCip, Gorres, Velayo) before establishing his own firm. He also holds CPA certificates for the states of California, Hawaii and Illinois. We have capable and responsive staff members who possess a wide range of technical skills. Our tax and accounting professionals enjoy good chemistry with clients personnel. Our consultants offer recommendations tailored to the specific needs of clients. Some of our personnel worked with what were then the Big 10 international CPA firms of Ernst & Young and with SGV (SyCip, Gorres, Velayo/Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting/Accenture).
